Hospital

ASRS were called in to provide a specification and repair method to a local hospital where settlement had caused the protruding hospital single storey ward wings to separate at the junctions of the main structure.

Due to there being a lot of life saving and critical apparatus inside the hospital as well as ill patients the specification that ASRS designed was to reconnect the walls back as quickly as possible without disturbing the internal fabric of the building and causing a problem for any of the patients or nurses.

ASRS installed Helifix crack stitches at 300mm vertical centres drilled back at 20 degree angle into the main structure and resin fixed to reconnect the separated wings back to the main structure with minimum disruption to any patients or hospital staff.
